The cost of custom e-commerce solutions varies widely. In many cases we can customize our LetMeShop catalog software for far less than you might expect.

Creating a custom e-commerce site can be a complex process. In most cases, however, we can simplify the design of the site using a simple process. 

• Feature List: A feature list is nothing more than a list of all of the things you want your site to do. This is far easier than trying to create a site map that includes all of the potential scenarios. For instance:
  • Take online orders.
  • Allow pricing based on up to 5 quantity discounts (buy 2 for, or buy 5 for)... can be different for each product.
  • Allow some customers to receive a % discount off the entire order (or)
  • Allow some customers to have a lower price by product
  • Allow us to send emails to customers that have purchased a particular product within the last 30 days.
  • Allow us to show a "special offer" to people who add a specific product to the shopping cart.
  • Allow us to create a report of customer who have purchased a particular set of products.
  • etc.
• Feedback: Once we have the feature list we will review each feature and, in many cases, offer other features that you may have overlooked.
• Proposal: Once we have the completed features list we can give you a solid proposal for creating a site that fits your needs exactly. Don't worry, we can always edit the feature list anywhere within the development process.

The proposal will include details on what we are going to do and a detailed list of features and processes that will be programmed into the site. It will also detail the process for changing features after the programming has started and all fees for doing the design. You will know in advance how much the site will cost.
